Virtual Learning Factory is a unique training platform that. The skills and knowledge they have acquired in this project as part of activities and workshops are organizing activities in nature, methods and tools for transferring knowledge outside traditional frameworks, standards of behavior in nature, orientation in nature, the culture of dialogue and discussion. Students need more than text-book examples on manufacturing to become employable in Industry 4.0.

Future work on learning factories in construction include a detailed study of the learning outcomes.From 22th to 28th of February 2022, our young participants attended the youth workers training “Eco centric learning factory” in Samobor, Croatia as part of the Erasmus + exchange. This paper introduces the Lean School, a Learning Factory, along with a game of physical simulation that is developed in it. As such, learning factories are envisioned to become part of a research and teaching environment where one of the underlying goals is to enable production engineers and staff for change management, decision making, and innovation in construction. Here, the emphasis of the presented work focuses on closing the feedback loop of lean construction planning, progress tracking, and status control using cloud-based information modeling as well as Internet-of-Things (IoT) technology for reporting actual progress in the production system. The didactical design of the training program provides a sustainable approach that includes preparation utilizing lean construction principles, mid-Term coaching, and success monitoring after the training. The Ecodesign Learning Factory is a training open for professionals and teachers which aims to convey methods and tools to enable participants to design. Existing learning factories often focus on the technical skills whereas this learning factory also trains decision making, group work and performance monitoring skills.
